Foam glass (American Standard)

High-performance foam glass is a new type of inorganic thermal insulation material with a uniform independent closed pore structure, which is made of pure glass, mixed with an appropriate amount of foaming agent, foamed through a high-temperature tunnel kiln, and processed by annealing and cooling. It has low density, light weight, low thermal conductivity and high compressive strength.

  • Additional Information

Product application

It is mainly used in the load-bearing and heat insulation of the bottom of the storage tank and the load-bearing and heat insulation of pipelines with high fire protection requirements.

Package storage

(1) Carton packaging, can be customized if there are special requirements.

(2) When transporting, they must be stacked tightly to prevent tilting or lateral pressure, and reinforced if necessary.

(3) Avoid the sun and rain, store in a dry and ventilated environment, and the vertical stacking height should not exceed 6 layers.

Use and Precautions

(1) Foam glass is a fragile product, so be careful not to roll or bump it during transportation.

(2) During the construction process, the parts that need to be cut can be processed with a saw blade.

(3) ZES85 or fine dry sand can be used for leveling when laying foam glass at the bottom of the tank.
