PIR

PIR polyisocyanurate foam is a foam material made by reacting isocyanate with polyether after the action of a catalyst. Its physical fire resistance is better than that of ordinary polyurethane foam materials. It has the advantages of low thermal conductivity, wide operating temperature range, excellent dimensional stability, and free cutting of tubes and plates according to customer requirements. The products meet ASTM C591 and CINI 2.7.01 standards.

Applications

It is an ideal organic low-temperature thermal insulation material with low thermal conductivity, light weight, shock resistance and strong adaptability. Widely used in oil refineries, chemical plants, ethylene, fertilizers, cold storage and LNG plant thermal insulation.


Packaging and storage

(1) It should be placed in a waterproof, moisture-proof, light-proof, dry, cool and ventilated place, avoiding heat sources and strictly preventing exposure to sunlight;

(2) The inner packaging is packed in black polyethylene bags, and the outer packaging is in cartons.

 

Use and precautions

(1) During the transportation and handling, the polyisocyanurate should be handled with care, and should not be rolled, bumped, or bear heavy objects.

(2) As pipeline and equipment insulation, glass fiber tape or steel tape should be used for bundling.

(3) During the construction process, the parts that need to be cut can be processed with a saw blade.
